Turning Selfies Into Art

Selfie’s are generally boring. Yes we’ve wrote about how dangerous they can be sometimes, but 99% of selfies are boring.

And most of the time you look a weirdo whilst you’re taking them too. So people like Helene Meldahl deserve a special round of applause for how they spice up our Instagram feeds.

Helene currently lives in the U.S of A, but is originally from Norway. With over 160,000 Instagram followers, she certainly receives admiration for her artistic interpretations of the standard selfie. So what exactly does she do that’s so innovative and awe inspiring?

Quite simply, she combines a mirror and markers, to create scenes that are part real life, part cartoon. Take a look at the pretty sweet results below.
