UI/UX Web Designer

Who We Seek:

Our energetic and growing team is on the hunt for a gifted UI/UX Web Designer with a creative streak to join our design and development crew. We value a skilled and proactive team player who will work on diverse digital assignments. As a crucial part of our team, you’ll work closely with our digital and design unit.

This is a full-time, permanent position. The salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience. You’ll be based in either our Hull or York office.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

• A visually impressive portfolio showcasing their web design prowess
• A minimum of 2 years of web design experience, ideally within an agency setting
• A solid grasp of UX concepts
• Familiarity with CMS platforms, such as WordPress
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud suite
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Experience with bug detection and snagging
• The ability to oversee their own projects and accounts, which includes direct customer interaction

Additional Desirable Skills Include:

• Knowledge of SEO/PPC
• Experience in building WordPress websites
• HTML & CSS skills
• Experience with Figma

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceiving and implementing design concepts that exceed our clients’ expectations
• Collaborating with our development team to create user friendly websites
• Building/adding content onto the websites you design
• Efficiently managing your own workload under the strain of demanding deadlines
