Figma is one of our go-to design tools at TH3, and it plays a big part in how we bring digital projects to life – fast, collaboratively and with creative clarity.
This isn’t a technical deep dive. If you’re not a designer (and don’t want to be), this one’s for you. I’ll walk you through what Figma actually is, how we use it at TH3, and most importantly, why it makes your experience as a client smoother, clearer, and far more collaborative.
What Is Figma?
Think of Figma as a virtual sketchbook rolled into one – but online, interactive, and made for teams.
It’s an online tool that lets people design and plan what websites, apps, or digital products will look like. You can think of it like a digital whiteboard where several people can draw, move things around, and make notes together at the same time.
But Figma isn’t just for design layouts – it also includes a tool called FigJam, which we use for planning and workshops. FigJam is a virtual whiteboard for brainstorming and mapping out ideas. It lets us add sticky notes, flowcharts, diagrams and even vote on ideas – all in real time, from anywhere.

How We Use Figma at TH3
Figma is one of our favourite tools for a reason. Here’s how we use it:
- We sketch out wireframes and early concepts
- Then we build out full-page designs, showing how your site will look on different devices
- You get a live link to view everything as we go
- You can drop comments straight onto the design (literally just click and type)
- We update the design based on your feedback – often in real time
The beauty of it? Everything’s in the cloud, so there’s no risk of looking at the wrong version. You’ll never have to wonder which file is the latest, or chase email threads trying to remember what was agreed.
