On our last post we talked about what 4G is and the benefits it has (read here), well the good news is that Hull is going to be one of the first city’s to get it!
EE, which owns Orange and T-Mobile, will roll out the new service across Hull before Christmas.
So what can we expect? 4G will offer mobile internet speeds up to five times faster than 3G, users will be able to stream live TV without buffering and download HD movies in minutes.
There’s only a select range of mobile handsets that are ‘4G Ready’, the newly launched Apple iPhone 5 is one of those.
